Check out this entertaining blog post from the ScriptJournal on some interesting screenwriting vernacular. Margaret Dunlap is a television writer and writers’ assistant. She earned an MFA in Writing for the Screen and Television from the USC School of Cinematic Arts and a B.A. from Simon’s Rock College of Bard. Every day on the job, she learns even more.
"The staff is going to gang bang it,” I said as I plunked down next to our PA’s desk, catching her up on the developing situation while the writers’ room was on break. “So we’ll have a draft soon, and tomorrow will probably be on the quiet side with everyone off on script."
